Abstract (EN)
The translation is seen to have a significant spot in Turkish literature in the Tanzimat Period when the idea of westernization had an important role. Taking into account that the class of novels in the Western sense arose with "translation and adaptations" in Turkish literature, translation is additionally vital for the improvement of Turkish prose. Since the translation movement incorporates numerous disciplines with its sociological and cultural perspective, its field of study is quite broad. Specific consideration has been paid to the connection between "translation sociology", which is a sub-specialization of translation studies, and language, writing, culture, and society. The preface tradition in classical literature proceeded in the books published after the Tanzimat Period. Besides copyrighted works, in the preface works of translated works, the translator mentioned his opinions about the author after mentioning the author and subject of the book and what he considered in the selection of the work. At the point when we inspect the writings of the Tanzimat reform era translation novel, which is the subject of our investigation, with the strategies for Pierre Bourdieu, one of the translation sociology theorists, it is seen that the translator takes "morality" and "utilitarianism" into thought in the content choice, considering the worth decisions of the general public. Also, the immediate circle of the interpreters, their profession, and the audience they address are additionally powerful factors in the determination of the writing. Interpreters likewise gave data on the technique for interpretation in the presentation. When these are assessed in the verifiable cycle, it is seen that "extractive" interpretation was utilized at first and after "paraphrase" translation method was used and "exactly" translation was included in the 1880s. When assessed with regards to "text-interpreter relationship" and "translator-language relationship", the standards of "morality" and "educationalism" that show up in the Tanzimat period are likewise substantial for translated novels. In the translation strategy, even though the interpreter recently deciphered the work by "summarizing, abbreviating" thinking about the foreign language knowledge, the subject of the writing, and the connection between the text and the reader, it was discovered that over time, he utilized the "literal" interpretation technique. To decide the advancement of interpretation action in Turkish writing, the interpretations of the Tanzimat period of 1860 and 1896 fill in as a significant asset.
