The sage who sheds light on history: Prof. Dr. Enver Konukçu

Known as the Teacher of the Teachers, Prof. Dr. Enver Konukçu has made researches and studies in different fields of Turkish History, from the Middle Ages to the New and Modern Ages, from the New and Modern Ages to the History of the Republic, and has become one of the important figures of our living historiography. He is an important person who has contributed to the development of modern Turkish Historiography with the dozens of works he has written and the countless students he has trained. In this sense, to the science of history; He made and continues to make serious contributions to the history of India, Seljuk, Ottoman and especially Erzurum, Eastern Anatolia and the Caucasus. Particularly, he participated in many excavation works in order to bring to light the massacres committed by Armenians against Muslims in Anatolia, and with his researches he tried to announce to the whole world that the so-called Armenian genocide was unfounded and that Armenians committed genocide against Muslims. In this study, Prof. Dr. Enver Konukçu's life, works and personality were also tried to be taken. During the study, a text was tried to be established based on the interview made with him, his books, articles and other works, as well as the texts written about him.
