The Silk Road has been an important platform where many civilizations and states have come together culturally, politically and commercially throughout history. Due to the competition in global trade in the 21st century, this route has been brought up again to facilitate transportation between countries. This route, which came to the agenda with the project prepared by China, offered more opportunities to countries than the existing trade routes. The aim of this study, of the Silk Road which has been preserving its importance for years and is intended to be revived again the, to examine the effects of Turkey and China to trade volume. In the first part of the study, briefly, the history and importance of the Silk Road are included. In the second chapter, section describes the contents of the Modern Silk Road project and is given to the possible effects on Turkey. In the third chapter with Turkey was given the historical development of Chinese relations. In the fourth chapter, Turkey and China's foreign trade are examined and trade data between the two countries have also been given. In this study, scanning method was used and statistical data were used. As a result, the Turkey-China trade data analyzed will have positive impact on the increase of trade volume between the two countries in the long term of a modern Silk Road project it has been envisaged.
