Abstract (EN)
In the Şehitlik village mosque, which was built in modern architecture in Artvin, woodwork was applied by taking the Amasya Mehmet Pasha pulpit and architectural motifs as an example. Most of the processes in this work, where wood decoration techniques are applied in detail, were made with CNC. Solid panels and timber were used in all woodwork in the building. Reliefs, intricate lines and floral motifs were used extensively. In the 2nd and 3rd chapters of the thesis, the motifs, analyzes and drawings of historical and cultural architectural structures were examined in detail. In general, the understanding of the mosque, which was influenced by the Turkish-Islamic culture, showed differences from time to time. There are different lines with the Anatolian Seljuk, early-classical-late Ottoman period and the contemporary period. Studies were carried out with CNC, which is an important part of computer-aided production. This work, which is made in modern architecture, has been worked on using today's CNC technology, as well as the embroidery and construction, which includes early Ottoman motifs with historical cultural value. Within the scope of this thesis, CNC parameters according to wood species, the most suitable wood type, surface roughness and wettability of wood material, electrical energy spent according to the parameters and processing time were determined. As tree species, iroko, sapele, walnut, ash and spruce were used. 3 different blade diameters (3, 6 and 9 mm), 3 different rotation speeds (12000, 15000 and 18000 rpm) and 3 different cutting speeds (3000, 6000 and 9000 mm/min) were determined as CNC parameters. The lowest surface roughness value was obtained from Iroko samples. While the smoothest surface was obtained with a blade with a diameter of 6 mm, higher quality surfaces were formed from the samples processed at 15000 rpm and at a cutting speed of 3000 mm/min. Considering the wettability values, spruce, ash and sapele species gave better results than walnut and iroko. It has been determined that Ash and Walnut samples cause more electricity consumption per unit time than other wood species during processing.
