Abstract (EN)

The Ülkücü Movement holds a significant and deep-rooted place in Turkish political life and social structure. This study aims to examine the dynamics of secularization and desecularization within the Ülkücü Movement. Secularization and desecularization are processes that can bring significant transformations to the structure of human communities, influencing religious beliefs and practices at both individual and societal levels. By analyzing the Ülkücü Movement from this perspective, the study creates an important framework for understanding the movement's intellectual structure, beliefs, nationalism, and its interaction with the social fabric. Qualitative research methodology was adopted, and semi-structured interviews were conducted within a phenomenological perspective. The collected data were evaluated through thematic analysis. The study's findings reveal the relevant transformations experienced by the Ülkücü Movement in both historical and social contexts, while also providing an in-depth analysis of the participants' perceptions and experiences regarding these processes. This research contributes to the limited studies on the transformation of the Ülkücü Movement in the context of secularization and desecularization in Türkiye and aims to fill a gap in the literature. The results obtained provide original data that can guide both the academic literature and policymakers concerning Türkiye's processes of social transformation.
