Translation and evaluation of Tarihû'l Utbi

Tarihû'l Utbi, which informs about Ghaznevids, which dominated between 977-1200 years, is very important resarce in point of Middle Age History rescurces. Author primarily includes informations about final periods of Samâni State in this work. Specially, the work includes detailed informations about events which were between Sebük Tegin and Samani Emir's. As known, Alp Tegin who was the first ancestar, was sold as slave to Ahmet b. İsmail who was Samâni's Emir, and was taken as guard to Samâni army. Nonetheless, Ghaznavids abeyed to Samânis until Samâni's collopse otherwise, the author includes poems and verses of the Kur'an in the work in terms of supporting the topic. This thesis, called "Translation and Evaluation of Tarihû'l Utbi" especially tells events which were between Ghaznavid Sebük Tegin and Samâni Emirs. Moreover, it is extremely important resourse work in point of main resourse for persons who want to rescaroh about Middle Age History
