Determining irrigation security measure preferences in agricultural drought adaptation: The example of banana producers in Alanya region

This study aims to analyze banana producers' preferences for irrigation security measures against agricultural drought conditions in the Alanya region. Climate change has become one of the main factors threatening agricultural production, and the depletion of water resources, in particular, has created administrative challenges in tropical fruit producing regions. Alanya is a prominent region in Turkey for banana production, and with increasing production areas, demand for water also increases. Therefore, understanding producers' drought behavior and adaptation capacity is critical.
