Abstract (EN)

Today, rapid population growth brings rapid growth in settlements. The rapid growth of the settlements necessitates the adaptation of inter-regional transportation services to this speed. In order to adapt to this speed, map engineers follow the current technologies and develop the technology that will be useful for their own business. Today, machinery and equipment for more accurate and faster field measurements are being developed by using newly developed technologies. Thanks to the convenience of these new equipment and machines, location-based data production is becoming more important. Laser scanners; which are used by the map engineers for location based data generation, can be used by mounting on a platform (fixed station, vehicle, train, ship, etc.), according to different situations, different measuring speeds can be observed and the resulting point density can increase. Laser scanners are used in order to save manpower and time in data collection. However, the high cost of these systems prevents engineers from using these technological devices. In this study; It is aimed to create cross sections with a semi-automatic laser scanning system by instantaneous calculation of area and volume in mining works, tunnel constructions or construction of a building project. As an application, A low cost semi-automatic cross-sectional system is used. The readings in the field are instantly converted into cross-sections by calculating how much filling and how much excavation is done. As a result; an alternative to the applications used today; a system is designed with cheaper cost which has provide accurate results in a short period of time and with low manpower as it is in the current technology level.
