Abstract (EN)
The concept of design valuation allows the determination of a financial value of the design every field in which the design has entered. It has just started to become widespread in the world and its importance is increasing day by day. In general, it is included in the sources where it is processed under the main title of intellectual property valuation. Design valuation is concerned with how features such as shape, pattern, line and colour in the external appearance of products create value. The method, data and the result of the valuation used in the prepared valuation report are processed in detail. There are three basic valuation methods: cost-based valuation method, market-based valuation method, income-based valuation method. There are also sub-methods under these main headings. Each method has advantages and disadvantages. Which method will be used for valuation is decided by taking into account the available data, and different methods may yield different results as these data affect the value of the design. Among these methods, the most preferred method is the income-based valuation method, and future risks are also taken into account while explaining all the data used in the income-based valuation method. In this study, design valuation and valuation methods are examined; It was mentioned how the valuation report could be, and a sample valuation report was created. It is intended to be an example for future studies and design valuation processes.
