Effects of design elements on graphic design

With the beginning of the 20th century, both technological and cultural developments have begun to take place that deeply and rapidly affect the structure of society. Especially the increase in production with this development has forced graphic design to keep up with the changing order. Bringing the message to people in the most effective and short way has led to new searches in all branches of art, especially graphic design. In this context, the change and development of graphic design and design elements in line with these searches has made it necessary for us to understand this relationship more clearly. The main purpose of this research is; It is to investigate the effect of design elements on graphic design. It is important for designers to know how the design elements, which have been developing within themselves for many years, affect the renewed graphic design products in the face of developing technology. In the first part of the study, the concept of graphic design and the terminology necessary for understanding the concept are explained. In the second part of the study; The design principles and design elements that form the basis of the study are explained with examples. In the last part of the study, the effect of design elements on graphic design was investigated.
