Abstract (EN)

Mehmet Mühyiddin Üftâde and Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi, who had an important place in the history of Turkish Sufism in the first quarter of the 16th and 17th centuries and were known as the Celvetiyye pirleri, spent their lives with tabligh and irshad. They also expressed their Sufi ideas and experiences through their poems. In a literary style, they transferred both their minds and hearts to verses. Their courts have been the subject of many studies. However, there is no study on the Sufi comparison of the two diwans. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the similarities and differences in the idea worlds of Uftade and Hudayi by making comparisons through common concepts. When the divans of Uftada and Hudayi were examined, it was observed that the authors processed their scientific, moral and intellectual accumulations in their poems. However, the difference in style and operation between Hudayi and his shaykh and the metaphorical meaning in Uftade's verses aroused curiosity. The research started with the classification of the concepts in the sofas. Then, the meanings used by the concepts, what the poets meant by these concepts and the similarities and differences between them were examined. The words were supported by poems and the opinions of the authors on the subject were conveyed. In the introduction, the characteristics of the period in which Üftâde and Hudayi lived and the studies on divans while examining the Sufi life are explained. In the first part, the life of Uftada and Hudayi, their scientific, literary, Sufi personalities and sects are briefly discussed. In the second part, the main subject of the study is the comparison of the Uftada Divan and the Hudayi Divans from the Sufi Perspective. The concepts that are the subject of comparison in this section are; concepts related to existence and knowledge, concepts related to state and authority, concepts related to seyr u sulûk are collected under three headings. The Divans were examined from a Sufi point of view without any literary concerns. During the research, the authors only meant in their poems.
