Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to prepare single tree based above-ground biomass tables and to develop compatible biomass-volume equations for Black Pine stands in Taşköprü Forest Enterprise. According to the basal area average diameter in sample plots which selected by trying to ensure the delivery of the closure, development stage and site quality, at least one sample tree was selected from each sample plots. For this purpose, 127 sample trees on the 85 sample plots taken from pure and natural black pine stands were carried out. Regression approach was used to fix the biomass equations. 18 single- and 21 double-entry biomass equations were tested for each biomass components and above-ground total biomass depending on oven-dry weight for all trees. The most successive equations were selected according to four criteria and single- and double-entry biomass tables were constructed. Coefficient of determination (R2) of the most successful single-entry biomass equations for wood, bark, branch, leaf biomass and total biomass were 0,959, 0,949, 0,889, 0,840 and 0,979 respectively. These values were 0,971, 0,883, 0,618, 0,613 and 0,965 for double-entry equations respectively. For compatible biomass-volume equations, R2 values were obtained in the range from 0,965 to 0,972.
