Examination of the problems of transported secondary school practice according to the opinions of the teachers and students in the transported school (Example of Haymana district of Ankara province)

The purpose of this study is to examine the problems of transported secondary school practicing according to the opinions of the teachers and students in the transported school. The research was based on the descriptive search model. The population of the study consisted of 57 teachers and 195 students of total 4 secondary state schools in Haymana district of Ankara in 2015-2016. Teacher Views on the Transported Secondary School Practicing Scale and Student Views on the Transported Secondary School Practicing Scale were used to collect data. The data were collected by the researcher through visiting each school in the sapmle group. SPSS 15 and LISREL 8 statistical software packages were used to analysis the data. Besides the descriptive statics; independent sapmles t-Test; One Way ANOVA analyses were used to assess the data and the results were presented in charts.According to the results female students have more negative opinion to the transported education than male students. It was observed that 7th grade students have more negative thoughts than 5th grade students. It is noticed that the higher educational background of the parents have, the more negative views the students demonstrate. The monthly income of the family increases, the students have more positive views about transported schooling. The results indicate that there is not any significant difference between teachers views to the transported schooling system by gender. The time of teachers working as teachers and working at the same school increases, they have more negative opinions towards problems about transportation and transportation appliances.
