Özet (EN)

Speed is the road taken in unit time. Acceleration is expressed as changing rate of speed acoording to the time and it occurs with a force. Three types of acceleration exist in a moving vehicle, which are linear acceleration in X- axial, lateral acceleration in Y- axial and gravitation acceleration in Z- axial. In the experimental study, measurements of acceleration was made in actual road conditions with an automotive class. U3 data collector unit connected to the laptop via USB port and three-axial accelerometer were used in order to collect data from vehicle in three-axial. We provided data collecting by using the LabVIEW drivers of U3 data collecting and measuring the acceleration changes of the vehicle on straight road, curve and linear slope. Tests were made on motorway of Afyonkarahisar-İzmir and between 10th - 30th kilometers and the effects of acceleration on vehicle was determined by taking the measurements of acceleration while speeding, remaining the speed and braking. Mathematical model was formed by analyzing the data from experimental results and it was observed that it is harmonious with the experimental results. In experiments, lateral acceleration occured higher at right bend with 100km/h, lower at left bend with 60km/h. The linear acceleration of vehicle was measured as maximum while speeding at 0-100 km/h and minimum while slowing at 100-0 km/h.In bend test, maximum acceleration was acquired from outermost of bend;in linear acceleration test, maximum acceleration was stated in landing slope condition.
