Abstract (EN)
To dispose of chicken manure (CM) produced by poultry farming, a circulating fluidized bed boiler (CFBB) system was created, built, and tested in this study. The influence of the surplus air ratio and the amount of TG in the fuel mixture on combustion efficiency and flue gas emissions were assessed using combustion and co-combustion tests of CM and Kale Lignite (L) in the system. The combustion efficiency rose from 86% to 95% as the amount of CM in the mixture increased. Depending on the CM ratio, it was found that emissions of SO2 and NOx decreased while emissions of CO increased. For 100%L, the CO emissions ranged from 726 to 2241 mg/Nm3; for 100%CM, it ranged between 838 and 2450 mg/Nm3. For 100%CM, NOx emissions varied from 177.5 to 240 mg/Nm3, and for 100%L, it was 276.3 mg/Nm3. The average SO2 emissions for 100%L were approximately 5200 mg/Nm3, but as the percentage of CM in the fuel mix increased, emissions dropped until they were zero for 100%CM. As the percentage of excess air increased, CO emissions decreased. With a rise in excess air content in nearly all fuel mixes, SO2 and NOx emissions increased. Therefore, using domestic resources, reducing emissions, and disposing of waste are all potential benefits of co-combustion chicken manure with lignite.
