Abstract (EN)
Medicalization is the name given to the process of defining non-medical conditions for individuals in a medical way and including them within the scope of treatment. This study aims to reveal how conditions such as prominent ears, which does not harm the physical health of someone and does not require receiving health care, is represented in the media and to compare the representations of prominent ears by the media and private health institutions in the context of medicalization.
