Abstract (EN)
This study focuses on revealing the relationship between history, nation state and early Turkish cinema history. nation-state policies in the founding of the Republic of Turkey, dealt with history and history writing process, the early history of cinema is also open to discussion in this context. Historical research techniques were used in the study and archival documents and primary sources were used. Turkish historiography of early cinema films as well as the contents of the study, during the establishment of the Republic of Turkey in social, economic and political role were evaluated.
