Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was tried to determine the elements of social life reflected from the Dîvân of the poet Tajlî who lived in the XVII century. In the study, Sebahat Deniz's work called Tecellî ve Dîvânı was taken as a basis. The study consists of twelve chapters with an Introduction. In the Introduction part of the study, brief and introductory information is given about the life, pen name, death, works, literary personality and art of Tecellî. The study is divided into main sections by classifying it as Types in Daily Life, Food and Beverage, Clothing, Items Used in Daily Life, Professions, Medicine and Diseases, Wars, Religious Beliefs and Beliefs About Worship, Other Beliefs-Customs and Rituals, Behavior Patterns, Entertainment Life, Architectural and Social Life. It has been determined and explained how the elements of social life identified in the divan are processed in the poetry tradition and from what angles they are handled. After the Conclusion part of the study, the Bibliography section, which includes the sources used, is included. With this study, it has been seen that Tecellî, who contributed to Ottoman poetry, dealt with many elements of social life in his work and included even an ordinary object used in daily life into his poetry with the power of imagination and observation. When the Manifestation Dîvân was examined, it was once again determined that Ottoman poetry did not ignore the elements of the society and was not disconnected from the society.
