Abstract (EN)

In today's competitive environment, it is seen that products or services should be delivered quickly and effectively according to demands of customers. Suppliers need to be able to adapt to the rapidly changing competitive environment and be able to hold onto the system. The suppliers that companies want to work with are undoubtedly those who can provide flow without being affected by this change. At this point, with the right supplier selection, in order to be fast, the logistics and distribution network should be ensured in optimum conditions. Thus, the system continues to operate without interrupting the supply chain. In this study, the criteria that affect the system is evaluated using analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method and the main criteria and sub-criteria that are the most important impact on the system are determined. According to the results of the evaluation, the speed that is main criterion is examined. A mathematical programming model is developed using the speed criterion and its sub-criteria and GAMS optimization software is used for the solution of this model. The selected sub-criteria and the developed mathematical programming model are used in a developed supplier selection problem to ensure optimum supplier selection. Moreover, the different evaluation is also done adding the other main criteria for the suppliers selected according to the evaluation result performed using the speed main criterion.
