Abstract (EN)
In this study, an extensive literature study was conducted on the possible threats that could have negative influences on supply chain processes, business performance, financial structures or brand images of organizations; and the effectiveness of business continuity management against these threats. Also a research has been carried out on the subject of transportation of hazardous materials by road which contains many environmental threats and risks as well as the risks mentioned above. Keeping in mind that many regulations on hazardous materials transportation in Turkey are rather new; an assessment has been provided on the business continuity management activities of the organizations that supply hazardous materials within these regulations.
