An application of business process management and improvement techniques on a supply chain management

Nowadays conjunctural fluctuations, orientate the businesses to change and also improve themselves. With this change, businesses have to be open the innovations and improve themselves to keep up with the times. Priority of businesses; being customer-driven, then it should develop their products and services according to customer's demands and expectations. Customers demands and expectations continuously change with increasing conditions of competition. In this way, businesses can only survive as long as they can renew themselves. The necessity of process management arises at this point. By means of process management, businesses achieve their goals such as to adapt quickly to changing conditions, to be able to respond to customer needs and expectations, to be permanent of competition, to add value to production and product, and to operate for many years in the sector. In this study, information about process management and process improvement techniques is given, and this information is shown in a real application. The purposed in this study; determination of processes, implementation of process management, monitoring of applications and improvement techniques and improvement of activities in the process.
