Teehhül Aleminde:Aanalysis-text

In this thesis, it is aimed to bring the work of Safvet Nezihî, who was born in Istanbul in 1871 and died in Istanbul on November 3, 1938 and created his works under the influence of Servet-i Fünûn, named Teehhül Âleminde to our day by Latinising it. Studies about the novel named Teehül Âleminde by Safvet Nezihî which was serialized in the newspaper İkdam in 1901 and published as a book in 1902 have been done and it has been determined that the novel in question has not been Latinised and analysed as a text so far. Therefore, the work has been Latinised in the first place, then, the reference books about the life, the works and the literary personality of Safvet Nezihî have been scanned and findings about the literary standpoint of Safvet Nezihî have been obtained. Lastly, in the light of these findings, the examination of the Latinised version of the novel named Teehhül Âleminde has been made. In the introduction of this study, pieces of information on Servet-i Fünûn Literature, the life of Safvet Nezihî, his works and his literary personality are presented. In the first chapter, the novel is analyzed under the titles of structure, plot, characters, period, setting and theme. The Latinised version of the novel Teehhül Âleminde is placed in the second chapter. The findings obtained as a result of all these examinations are evaluated in the conclusion section.
