Özet (EN)

Relocation of hundred thousand Armenians caused them to give up their lots of movable and immovable goods. In order to control on these goods called Emval-i metruke (abandoned goods) the government enabled different commissions to be established. Thanks to Emval-i Metruke Commissions and later-established Tasfiye Commissions, goods abandoned by Armenians was classified as soon as being rescued from despoliation, handed out to Muslim Emigrants, transferred to Muslim-Turkish entrepreneurs, used for the needs of the military, spent for the expenses of the Relocation of Armenians and finally used for the necessities of government such as schools, jails. When the partials of Ittihat, who lost the World War, draw themselves away from governance, the governments, who were the partials of England, began to govern after Mondros Armistice Treaty. While the partials of Ittihat were being judged since they were seen as responsible for the Relocations of Armenians, Relocated Armenians during the war were allowed to turn back their homes and be given their goods back. From the late 1918 to the early 1920, approximately 200.000 Armenians turned back their homes. These people who had turned back were given their properties back in accordance with their letters of application. When The Entente Powers (or Allies) began to invade Anatolia by using Armenians and Rums, some resistance organizations began to be established in different parts of Anatolia against invasions. In general, these resistance organizations were established against the threat of Armenians and Rums. Intellectual and rich people as well as military and civil power played an important role in establishment of these organizations. The other reason, which led rich and intellectual people to be organized, in addition to the anxiety of forfeiting the fatherland was to their afraid of losing these richness which they obtained from Armenians and Rums relocated during the World War I. The Government of Turkish Grand National Assembly that became successful in East against Armenians did respite these Armenians in the Treaties of Kars and Gümrü in order them to turn back, and after a long and harsh discussions revealed a law about the goods abandoned by them. But, the problem of emval-i metruke was clearly settled in the Treaty of Lausanne.
