Abstract (EN)
Existence and morality, as separate fields, are the most fundamental subjects of philosophy. These areas have been talked about since ancient times and various ideas have emerged. All these ideas come from man's attempt to make sense of life. This effort reveals the intersection point of ontology and ethics. That is to say, existence and morality are closely related to each other in this sense. When it comes to existence, not only particular materials, but also entities such as humans, God, and the universe come to mind. Therefore, our relationship with existence is one of the factors that determine our life algorithm. How should we live? We also derive the codes of our answer to this question from our understanding of existence at the philosophical level. Existentialism focuses on humans and their search for meaning in general. It is a philosophical movement that tries to find a way to live, and it is about morality. The aim of this study is to examine in a coherence, by focusing on non-theist existential philosophers, Heidegger, Sartre and Camus, about how to establish morality without adopting a God, their achievements and evaluations without comparing them. In the first part of our study, the problem is revealed by focusing on approaches to the issue of morality, religion and God, and by expressing the existentialism in a basic sense. In the second part, philosophers' understanding of existence take place and in the third part, related to this understanding, their speeches about morality are included. By evaluating their differences, their similarities, what they tell us and their approach to morality, it has been tried to reveal in this study whether a human-based understanding of morality can be a solution to today's moral impasse.
