Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this work is determining the mechanical behaviour of adhesively bonded joints with finite element method. The adhesively-bonded joints considered in this investigation include single-lap and double-lap joints. Simplified three-dimensional model based on the classical elasticity theory is presented. The stresses at the adhesively bonded joints obtained with three-dimensional finite element method. High stresses have seen at the end part of the adhesively-bonded joints. These stresses tried to reduce with various methods. Effects of adhesively bonded joints sizes and material properties to the stress distribution in the single and double-lap joints investigated. Shear stress distribution analyzed at the overlap region. Heat and surface roughness effects to the adhesively-bonded joints are investigated.
