Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, optimum dimensions of press bodies were determined by parametric design method. First, linear static Finite Element Analysis(FEA) of a single-acting H-type hydraulic press body was done with Solidworks simulation package. According to the results of the analysis, the Press body was manufactured with the dimensions determined, then the results of the measurements made with elongation wire were compared with the stress values obtained from the analyses. Sea was found to accurately predict experimental results with 90% accuracy. Thus, it was determined that sea can be used safely in later press designs. During SEA construction, the thickness and heights of the elements that make up the Press body were changed by trial and error and the dimensions were determined to be about 3 times safe. Then, using the Solidworks software design study, the optimum values of the part sizes were determined again by a parametric design in order to ensure that stress, displacement and mass remain below certain limits. As a result , analysis by trial and error and the manufactured body according to the preliminary design of the Press body 5020 kg and 17% according to a reduction was provided. Keywords: Hydraulic press, optimization, parametric design, finite element analysis
