Analysis of the output harmonics of single phase voltage source inverters

Selection of the proper active and passive filters for several sigle phase voltage invertörs to minimize or eleminate the harmonics by analysing invertör output signals is presented. Moreover, the effects of active filter on invertörs are observed by comparing normal (squarewave operation) and PWM (pulse width modulation) techniques. Additionally, passive LC low pass filter is located to reduce the effects of harmonics on invertör output signals for both techniques.
