Abstract (EN)

Perovskite ceramics containing lead (Pb) are the most preferred ceramics in our time. The damage caused by lead pollution to our nature is increasing day by day and threatens human health. Global awareness of environmental issues has stimulated the search for lead-free piezo ceramics as an alternative to traditional Pb-based ceramics in recent years. Bi0.5 Na0.5TiO3 (BNT) and Ka0.5 Na0.5NbO3 (KNN) are newly found materials upon the request of the European Union to produce materials that will be an alternative to Lead Zirconate Titanate (PZT). In this study, SrTiO3 single crystal compound was added to the BNT material. With the addition of SrTiO3 single crystal material, the change in the electrical properties of the BNT ceramic material was examined and phase analyzes were made. First, the single crystal material SrTiO3 was produced. Then, BNT was combined with the powders that make up the ceramic material in cytochiometric ratios. Grinding was done with a ball mill. After grinding, drying process and calcination process were applied. After these processes, the second grinding was carried out. The prepared powder compositions were subjected to cold isostatic pressing with a pressure of 200 MPa. The pelleted samples were sintered at 1180 ˚C for 1 hour at 5 ˚C/min. The phases formed in the obtained ceramic material were analyzed by X-Ray Diffractometry (XRD). Changes in grain morphology were examined using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Densities of materials were measured using the Archimedean technique. In the conclusion part, the data obtained from the study were evaluated. Keywords: Dielectric, BNT, Perovskite
