Keywords: Rotor Angle Stability, SMIB, chaos, power system, machine constant, damping constant, fault clearing time, reclosure time.The subject of a this thesis is the rotor angle stability in a single machine infinite bus power system. And subjects which are synchronous generator, infinite bus, SMIB power system, stability on power systems, voltage stability, frequency stability, rotor angle stability are studied in this work.The rotor angle stability is simulated by MATLAB/SIMULINK. It is researced and observed that what are the effects to rotor angle stability of synchronous machine constant, damping constant, fault clearin time and reclosure time.
