Abstract (EN)
27 years of the single-party period of the Republic of Turkey is an important period for the development of social policy and decisiveness. In this study, the social policy programs of the governments established during the single-party period were analyzed in two separate periods, the liberal period (between 1923-1930) and the statist period (between the years 1931-1946). How and to what extent the liberal economic policies and statist economic policies implemented in the government programs established during the single-party period changed and shaped social policies were examined comparatively. In this framework, in the government programs in the liberal period, the targets within the scope of health policies aimed at increasing the population in the field of social policy were included. Social policies were included more in the programs of the governments in the period of statist economic policies. Regulation of labor relations, social security, and social assistance are prominent elements in the programs of governments of this period.
