Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to increase the acid resistance of the matte glazes used in the mat products of 30 x 60 cm, 30 x 75 cm and 30 x 90 cm sizes. It is aimed to develop a new frit with boric acid content as the existing matte frit is not of the character providing acid resistance. It is aimed to provide resistance by using the newly developed frit in the glaze at an appropriate rate. After the mat frit obtained as a result of the studies, it has become compatible with the raw materials in the glaze. The boric acid-containing glaze came to GHA (G = Glazed surface, H = high chemical concentration, A = no visible effect) levels and was baked in various regimes and increased acid resistance. Acid resistance tests were performed with X-ray fluorescence spectrometers (XRF), heat microscope and high concentration chemicals. The glaze developed a matte glaze with domestic frit according to ISO 10545-13 standards. With the domestic frit-containing matte glaze, adherence to abroad has decreased and the 95% quality target of matte products has been achieved.
