Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, it is seen that Asian economies have started to have the majority of economies in the world economy and the global economy has turned to Asia. In this case, it is of great importance that the products produced in Asian countries are delivered to Europe in the cheapest and fastest way. Due to the increase in trade volume in these regions, the existing ports in West Asia are insufficient in terms of capacity and infrastructure. For this reason, Asian countries are looking for new and different transportation routes. As a result of these searches, the Silk Road has begun to regain its meaning and importance. As a result of development of today's technology, the Silk Road is no longer just the land Silk Road, therewithal It is known as the sea Silk Road, the iron Silk Road, the energy Silk Road, the air Silk Road and the culture Silk Road. It is certainly known that; The revitalization of the Silk Road will create new economic opportunities both that countries are integrated with each other and to achieve common prosperity. Therefore Turkey has been making all the necessary infrastructure work in the context of One Belt One Road Project. This study consists of three parts. It was examined the concept of logistics, historical development of logistics, dynamics of logistics, logistics principles and elements of logistics in the first chapter. It is explained the Silk Road concept, the historical development of the Silk Road, the growth period of the Silk Road, the decline period of the Silk Road, the revitalization of the Silk Road, the One Belt One Road and the supportive studies of the One Belt One Road Project in Turkey in the second chapter. It is intended the survey of companies operating in the logistics sector to reveal the approach of the Logistics Companies for One Belt One Road Project, determination of the expectations of the firms operating in the sector from the One Belt One Road Project and Identification of problems experienced in the logistics sector in Turkey in the third chapter. Based on the findings, It is made factor analysis, ANOVA test, and SWOT analysis of the potential of Turkey's logistic base.
