Nature tourism activites and economic analysis in nature parks in Teki̇rdağ City

Abstract: In recent years, the tendency of people towards nature in Turkey and in the world is remarkable. The trend towards nature also affects natural tourism demands. In this study, nature parks which are one of the areas where the society are being satisfied the demands are examined. For this purpose, Atatürk Ormanı Nature Park and Çamlıkoy Nature Park in Tekirdağ province were chosen as research areas. The two research areas have different characteristics. Economic and social analyzes of the Atatürk Forest Nature Park and Çamlıkoy Nature Park were made. In economic analysis; The benefit / cost ratio criterion has been used. In addition, by the way of surveys were evaluated request of the participants in nature parks. Questionnaires conducted with the participants were evaluated using the chi-square test of independence. In line with the results of the social and economic analyzes made, recommendations were made for two nature parks. Key Words: Nature Park, Tekirdağ, socio-economic
