Abstract (EN)
The first stage in this study using dry air 400, 500, 600, 700 0C in the horizantal tube furnace combustion tests of Tekirdağ -Malkara coal was performed. Then, combustion tests were made in media containing %50 O2 and %50 N2 again for 400, 500, 600 and 700 0C temperatures. The same experiments were repeated for the same temperature in the same media containing a %40 O2 and %60 N2.To see how we can further reduce the amount of oxygen, experiments mentioned above was repeated for the media containing % 30 O2 and %70 N2. At a later stage, combustion tests of Tekirdag-Malkara coal was made in the media containing %60 O2 and %40 N2 for 300 and 400 0C by using horizontal tube furnace. Calorific value analysis and short analysis of the sample obtained by combustion were performed. In experiments carried out in the combustion media containing 60 percent oxygen at 300 0C same experiment was repeated in media containing 65 percent oxygen which complete combustion happened. Because of complete combustion result at 400 0C in media containing 60 percent oxygen, same combustion experiment was repeated in media containing 55 percent oxygen for the same temperature.Combustion experiment of Tekirdağ Malkara coal was held in tube furnace. Calorific value, short analysis, elemental analysis, FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), XRD, XRF, Particle size distrubution and BET analysis has done to samples which obtained from the combustion to determine optimum oxy combustion condition for complete combustion.
