The effect of technological changes and developments on print art

The scientific and technological developments in the historical process, providing convenience and comfort in life, has led to a place in different disciplines. In such an era when technology takes place in our lives quickly, the direction of technology in communication tells the time when the speed of developments cannot be reached and art meets technology. In the first part of this study, the definition of graphic concept and the development of graphic design to get it with the concept of graphic design are discussed. While examining the development of graphic design, art and hand movement, new art movement, functional movement, new art and an esthetic understanding are examined. In the second part, while the printing techniques are examined, high printing techniques, flat printing techniques, hollow printing techniques, digital printing and serigraphy printing are investigated, the past and current age of these printing techniques are also taken into consideration. In the third chapter, the effects of technological changes and developments on the art of printing, the state of graphic printing at the beginning of the XXth century, the development of printing techniques after the Second World War, globalization and hybridization along with traditional printing techniques and modern printing techniques are presented and compared. In addition to these, new digital techniques used after the technological revolution, interactive media applications, mobile media applications and design techniques used as personal narrative style are included. In the fourth section, Graphic Design techniques are explained. Also in this section, instructions connected with recently used Graphic Design techniques are revealed and supported with examples. The conclusions and recommendations are discussed, the bibliography and the curriculum vitae are given.
