The relationship between R&D incentives offered in technoparks and R&D indicators: The case of Tokat Technopark

Technology Development Zones are briefly referred to as technoparks and technopolises. In this research, the structure of technoparks where R&D activities are carried out, their contributions to entrepreneurs in the context of tax incentives and other supports provided to entrepreneurs are examined in detail. The relationship between the amount of incentives utilized in Tokat Technopark and R&D outputs was measured by "Correlation Coefficient" and the findings were interpreted. As a result of the analysis of the research, there is a positive relationship in six outputs and no relationship in two of them. Although there are many incentives offered in Technoparks, R&D incentive mechanism should be continued for Tokat Technopark and similar technoparks to use and develop University-Industry Cooperation effectively.Key Words: Technoparks, R&D Incentives, R&D Outputs, Tokat Technopark, Correlation coefficient.
