Abstract (EN)
Today, humanity is facing a number of serious problems caused by the industrial and economic practices which have been prevalent particularly during the last hundred years. It is obvious that future generations will have unprecedented challanges to have humanly and sustainable life if natural sources of earth keep up being consumed at the same amounts and ratios they are being today. In the next decades, it is unquestionable that societies have to develop new strategies to achieve a sustainable life. Textiles and fashion sector, being an important industry, has to develop sustainable solutions for design, production, consumption and waste management processes, as well.
