Choosing a distribution model in the transition to cloud computing in the telecommunications sector

In this study, theoretical information about cloud computing, which is the main subject of the thesis, is given first. Research has been conducted on the difficulties encountered in the transition to cloud computing in the telecommunications sector. Theoretical information about the Analytical Hierarchy Process as a decision-making method is included. Decision-making methods have been examined using the Analytical Hierarchy Process for the selection of cloud computing providers that exist and are being put into use in the world. In the thesis study, the methodologies formed during the transition to cloud computing in general are included. After these methodologies, the problems encountered in the transition to cloud computing, which constitute the purpose of the thesis, are explained. For the solution of these problems, a multi-criteria decision-making method has been applied. The multi-criteria decision-making method is explained theoretically. For the aforementioned providers in cloud computing, the Analytical Hierarchy Process method, which will be used for determining, scaling and weighting the criteria, has been described. After this information, in the application section, the weights of the providers used in cloud computing were determined using the Analytical Hierarchy Process, prioritizations were made, and it was aimed to select one of the alternatives. Survey studies were conducted to determine the criteria. With the help of this survey, the factors and sub-factors of the providers were determined. The survey study was conducted with the participation of people with cloud computing experience in the sector. In the studies carried out, the reports and results were evaluated, shared and suggestions were presented. Along with the results obtained, analyses and evaluations of cloud computing providers and the problems encountered were made. In this way, the thesis study was completed.
