The subject of my thesis is the case of non-pecuniary compensation arising from the infringement of personality rights through television. This topic has been studied in three parts. In the first chapter, concepts of person, personality, personality right are defined and the subject and characteristics of personality right are explained. In the second part, general information about television concept is given, and the place of television broadcasts in social life, television broadcasts and television broadcast service principles and restrictions on television broadcasts are examined. In addition to these, the conditions of violation of personality right through television, the reasons for compliance with the law, and the violation of personality right through television are explained. In the last section, the case of non-pecuniary damage arising from press freedom, freedom of communication and violation of personality rights via television has been discussed in detail.
