In this research two of the most important courses of Fine Art education, Basic Design and Digital Medium, are discussed, highlighting whether the two fields of information affect each other or not.Digital Medium is the most advanced education and design technology of our age. Not only do the design achieve visual quality in this medium, but they also acquire new features. Scope of expression is changed and improved, and the concepts are presented in a more affective way. Digital Medium, which is used throughout the Basic Design education brings new dimensions to the process of education and design.During the Basic Design education, the student receives aesthetic information as well as technical knowledge, which serves to render aesthetic information applicable. Today technological possibilities vary both economically and in terms of the diversity of application. Hence Design is intermigled with Digital Medium regarless of the field of practice.Even though Basic Design and Digital Medium courses are lectured simultaneously, the focus of this research is whether these two fields of art education, keeping in mind their close relation, interfere and influence each other and the students.
