Abstract (EN)
This thesis discusses and determines the evolutions of principal vectors of Kyrgyz's Foreign Policy in context of new world order and growing Chinese influence. Kyrgyzstan's geographic, political, and economic vulnerabilities have encouraged it to use its own territory as a bargaining chip in relations with foreign states. This policy is most evident in the stationing of Russian and American forces near the capital of Bishkek, but it has also played a role in border negotiations with the neighboring countries of China, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. Although a new leadership came to power after the Tulip Revolution in 2005 and Second Revolutions in 2010 promising to alter domestic and foreign policy, the changes that have occurred have tended to take the country in a more authoritarian visible pro-Russian and invisible Pro-Chinese direction. Kyrgyzstan continues, however, to pursue policies that make it an unusual case study of a country caught in a web of security and economic relationships between China, Russia, and the West. The question is to determine and outline the Kyrgyz foreign policy in the context of implementations of New Silk Road Projects of world's major actors which against each other.
