Abstract (EN)

Old Anatolian Turkish is the development period of western Turkish XIII.-XV. centuries. Many works of translation and copyright were written in this period. The translation of the Quran into Turkish began with the acceptance of Islam by the Turks. The work which we study on it named Tercüme-i Cāmiü'l-Hikāyāt li-Semerkandî belongs to Ebu'l-Leys es-Semerkandî. Kemankes Abdulkadir Effendi, who came from the family of Geylani, couldn't find information about the person who translated the work in his collection.Our study on Tercüme-i Cāmiü'l Hikāyāt-li Semerkandî (1b- 61a sheets), introduced above, consists introduction, text and grammatical analysis, index and glossary.In the introduction part, generally, the Quran translations and commentaries made in the period of Old Anatolian Turkish, the works and life of Ebu'l-Leys es-Semerkandî, knowledge about the work and Kemankes Abdulkadir Effendi is given.Grammatical Analysis part consists orthography, phonics and morphology of the work. These parts are explained in a detailed way with examples from the text.In the text analysis part, it is transcribed as numbering every sheet and every line.In the index part, how many times and where each word is mentioned. Glossary is formed by listing each word with its meaning. Proper nouns index is formed as well.
