Abstract (EN)

The aim of this dissertation is to provide a source for the selection of appropriate heating, cooling and ventilation systems in publicly used buildings. At the preparation period of the dissertation, firstly heating and air conditioning systems were classified and system selection criteria were evaluated. At the next step, the above mentioned systems were separately identified and the equipments used in these systems were mentioned. Advantageous and disadvantageous sides of the systems were examined and comparisons were made between them. In the next section it was explained how to determine the conformity of a building to the heating isolation regulations. Later, picking some several volumes in the sample building, their heating loss calculations and the selection of equipments to be used were made. In the study, heating, cooling and ventilation systems were examined during the construction of the building and they were all photographed. In the conclusion part, with the comparison of the systems, it was evaluated which heating, cooling and ventilation systems to be used in terminal stations and similar buildings considering the criteria of comfort, maintenance and operation easiness, investment cost, operation cost and environmental factors.Key Words: Terminal Stations, Heating, Cooling, Ventilation, Heat Loss Calculation
