Reverse logistics: An aplication in the Organized Industrial Zone of Kayseri̇

In recent years, there has been an impressive change in the field of logistics activites. Logistics which was in the role of supporting basic functions such as marketing before years, coming off the well-know distribition meaning today, it extends from buying to stock management, from marketing to shipping, to packaging even to customer service. It has turned into a fuction which supplies an advantage of competition in the meaning of sustainable for logistic bussinesses. One of the key process of supply chain is reverse logistics. The concept of the reverse logistics becomes importance in terms of companies due to lots of reasons such as economic reasons, laws, institutional and social responsibilities, sustainable competition protecting of the natural sources. Entering the production process again, maintaining or trying to destroy with minimum harm of the products whose useful life is finished, which are given back, become waste or the usage of them and in terms of consumer are the situations that need to emphasizewith importance about which positions to being delivered of sources. In research, firstly, a general information about the concepts of logistics and reversed logistics was given. Then, the data obtained from the survey including, 250 business managers who work in the Organized Industrial Zone of Kayseri was evaluated with the businesses included the survey, the views on the reverse logistics and current state were determined in the defined area. According the acquired data, we can say that the actions of reverse logistics in the businesses of the Organized Industrial Zone of Kayseri are generally fulfilled and given importance but it seems clear that some businesses do not give importance to these actions.
