ABSTRACTEdition-Critiqueof the Prayer of GloriyingGod?s HadithFatma ÖZMENDokuz Eylul UniversityInstitute Of Social SciencesDepartment Of Fundamental Islamic SciencesPraying are generically classifıed as compulsory and optional. A more precise division consistsof classifying salat into four types: fard, wajib, sunnah and nafl The fard salat are the five dailyprayers, the Friday prayer and the funeral prayer. Fard prayers are further classed as fard al-ayn(obligation of the seIf) and fard a/-kifayah (obligation of sufficiency). The fırst means obligatory oneach individual, and the second means obligatory on the Muslim community so that if same peoplecarry it out no Muslim is considered blameworthy - but if no one carries it out all incur a collectiveguilt.Nafl salats behind the five daily prayers are in which divided into two parts regarded asregularly performed traditions (revatib), unregularly performing salats (regaib) for taking good. Salatal-Tasbih (Prayer of Gloriying Gad) takes up in this pasition.Nothing determined any clear and sound tradition that The Prophet Muhammad's performingsalat al-tasbih. Consequently, we see that it has only been mentioned in some individual reparts.Moreover, most famous and widely acknowledged books of Hadith which called sunan like Tirmizi,ibn Moje and Ebu Davud and same others do not contain this report. When critisized these traditionsin terms of hadith methodology and critiques some of these traditions occur sound. In that case, anymuslim can voluntary performing this prayer by himself.
