Abstract (EN)
In this study deformation behavior of sheet metal widely used in the automotive industry, the mechanical properties of connections made with TIG and oxy-gas methods are examined. Pure argon gas was used in TIG welding as shielding gas. The tensile test was applied to the samples obtained after welded joints and microstructure and micro-hardness tests were performed also. The results of the examination of samples of deep-drawn any macro or micro-cracks were found. As a result of the hardness tests, the highest hardness values measured in weld metal, respectively, it is followed by ITAB and the main material. As a result of tensile tests, the highest tensile strength of both types of joints is obtained in TIG welding. As a result of the micro structure analysis of the welded samples the welding zone has revealed a different situation than the classical structural steels. As a result of examinations, the transition zones of ITAB could not be distinguished clearly. As a result of the tests available it has been found that EN 10204/2004/3.1 S235JR+AR steel is suitable for a deep draw and has a high welding ability.
