Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out with the aim of determining the nutritional status of the Arsuz regional agricultural lands in Hatay province. The soil samples were collected from 52 different points with the representation of the top 20-30 cm depth of soil from certain areas of Arsuz at Hatay province. Physical and chemical analyzes were carried out on the samples. The results of the analysis were compared with the limit values. Based on this comparison, the nutritional and productivity status of the soil were tried to be defined. Analyzes of the soil samples with macronutrients elements that was taken according to certain boundary values show that, content of phosphorus (P) was high, the content of total nitrogen (N) was low and in a very low level, and for the content of sodium (Na) was not problematic. Moreover, the results shows that 92.31% of the potassium (K) contents was too much, 73.07% the calcium (Ca) contents was enough and the magnesium (Mg) content was sufficient. As a result, it can be said for soil of micronutrients; the whole the copper (Cu) content was sufficient, 65.38% of the iron (Fe) content was moderate, 63.46% the manganese (Mn) content was low and 55.76% the zinc (Zn) content was sufficient. It has been determined that the soil which is the subject of this research, generally composed of clay and clayey-tin textured material with slightly alkaline and it is unsalted, medium-lime. The results showed that there is, a pH, EC, exchangeable Na and Ca, CaCO3 positive significant correlation (p<0.01) among ;Total N, NH4-nitrogen, exchangeable Na, NO3-nitrogen and pH negative significant correlation (p<0.01) between EC when considering all soils as whole respectively As for the conclusion, deficiencies can be eliminated with soil / leaf fertilization with support of calibration studies where the points of N and Mn elements were detected as insufficient in the region.
