Orta öğretim okulları yönetici ve öğretmenlerinin hizmet içi eğitime ve personelin geliştirilmesine ilişkin görüşleri

The purpose of this research is to find out the views of the supervisors and the teachers who work at the high schools and their views for training programmes and personnel development. Population of this research consisted 493 teachers and 70 supervisors in 16 high schools which are in the province of Bolu. The questionnaire is in four parts. These are the views of the supervisors and the teachers about the training programmes and their wishes for improvement in the terms of supervision, inspection and individuality. The instrument of the data collection used in this study is a survey handed in to the questionaires out of 254 teachers and 53 supervisors the total is 307.Totaly, 307 questionnaies were taken into account and analyzed by SPSS 11.00 programme and statistical procedures such as, frequency, percent, arithmatical mean and standart deviation were made. In the analyses of the data, t test, one-way variance analysis, Part Hoc Tukey HSD Test .05 significance score was accepted as important in determining the differences.As a result of the research, the following findings were achieved:- The teachers and the supervisors are generally happy about the training programmes.- The main results of the study showed that scondary schools administrators and teachers thought in-service training as necessary but they thought that in-service training practices is not effective in Turkish Educational System.- The teachers and the supervisors have stated that they want to improve themselves at semi and maximum levels.
