Abstract (EN)
The thyroid gland is of great importance in the metabolism of the human body, and thyroid hormones have profound effects on body weight, thermogenesis and lipolysis. These effects are mainly mediated by the effect of thyroid hormones on skeletal muscle and adipose tissue. Thyroid hormones; With its effect on the liver, it can also regulate the balance of fatty acids, cholesterol and carbohydrates. We conducted our study on 100 patients (65 men and 35 women) at Shatra General Hospital in order to interpret some of the results and to know the effect of the increase or decrease in the functions of thyroid hormones. As a result of our study, we found that TSH value decreased with the increase in T4 and T3 hormones (thyroid activity) in most of the patients studied, and this decrease in TSH corresponds to an increase in ALT, AST and ALP enzymes and a slight increase in GGT enzyme. As a result of the statistical study, we found a positive relationship between the thyroid gland and ferritin, especially in women. No statistically significant relationship was found between the stage of congestive liver activity and the levels of AST, ALT, ALP and GGT. Liver function tests and thyroid hormones were compared. There was an association between AST, ALT, ALP, GGT levels and increased thyroid activity. This explains the increase in the activity of the thyroid gland, which causes an increase in the activity of the body, which means it increases the activity of the whole body, which causes simple problems in the liver from destruction and building processes in body tissues, including liver enzymes.
