Abstract (EN)

In this study, we investigated the antifungal activities of 20 different vegetable oils, including 13 volatile(lavender oil, thyme oil, ginger oil, coriander oil, sage oil, bay leaf oil, peppermint oil, basil oil, rosemary oil, bergamot oil, eucalyptus oil, black cumin oil, anise oil) and 7 fixed oil (aloe Vera oil, chush seed oil, birch oil, flax oil, onion oil, bitter almond oil, hackberry oil), which were sold commercially, against 6 different disease (Alternaria solani, Monilia fructigena, Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopercisi, Rhizoctonia solani, Botrytis cinerea, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum) agents in in vitro conditions. Different methods were used for fixed and volatile oils in the studies carried out in in vitro conditions.1, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 µg/mL doses of vegetable oils were applied. In the petri dishes, the development of the oils in the diseases was observed. According to the results, it was observed that only Thyme oil was 100% blocking against all pathogens in all doses. In other oils, the rate of blocking increased as the dose increased. Because of the harmless effects of these oils found naturally in plants, it is thought that the use of these oils in the struggle of plant pathogens will gain importance.
